About the kennel

The name Rubysence comes from Ruby, of course, who is my stock bitch, in combination with the English word essence.

My goal is to breed breed-typical, clinically healthy dogs with a good mentality.

A good mentality has always been the be-all and end-all for me. It doesn't matter how beautiful or talented someone is if their mentality is bad. Ruby has an extraordinary mentality and that's something I want to take advantage of and pass on to the breed. That's why I choose to build my kennel foundation on her. As I see it, it's the core of Ruby's and the kennel's essence, hence Rubysence.

In my breeding work, I will only use clinically healthy breeding animals with known health status and good mentality.

I believe that puppies that are born and spend their first important weeks with a safe mother and in a safe environment have the best chance of continuing to develop into safe dogs in their new families.

My dogs live and thrive as family members in my household, where their individual and species needs are respected.
